Friday, NOV. 20th:  Lots of events - so go to the Event Calendar for details on this date: I will be visiting the Lawrence parent enrichment group (K-8) and the 6-8 ceramic fieldtrip at the LVS building to conducting a couple of art workshops.  Bring art to share with me! if you are one of the attending families.  Students may attend VIRTUALLY - click on the virtual art room during any of the day's events.

Friday, Dec. 11th:  LIMITED SEATS-14 Age limit: 6th-8th grade
Sign-up with the form on the left to attend.  Wheel throwing pottery at the Lawrence Art Center from 10am-noon.  I've rented a room just for us at the LAC.  Each student will have their own wheel.  It will really help to have the students watch the above activities and work with clay before coming.  Sign-up now to be part of this special event and receive more details.

If you have a group of 6-8th grade students in your area of Kansas, I need help with location sites, but I am willing to travel with the pottery wheel to give 6-8th grade students a chance to try it.  Art students are especially encouraged to participate.

SchoolCenter Picture Virtual Play with student illustrations!  I would like to host a virtual play in December on our last school day before winter break.  Please click the stage image for more details.

GET ART ACTIVE!
It's good for your brain!
...and just as hard to find time for as exersize but when you make the time to be art active you won't regret it.   I encourage parents to do their own art beside their children rather than just helping.
Discover and teach life-long creativity.
