LVS Middle School - School Day at 'The K'

Join us for a special Weather Presentation by Chief Meteorologist MikeThompson and the entire Fox 4 Weather Team. You don't want to miss the largest educational field trip in Kansas City. This opportunity gives students and teachers a chance to learn about Kansas City weather, have lunch and watch a ballgame. This special event has become a Royals tradition and attracts more than 20,000 students every year!

This year's event will take place prior to the Royals/Mariners game at Kauffman Stadium on May 7, 2009. Gates open at 8:30 a.m., the presentation starts at 10 a.m. and the first pitch is scheduled for 1:10 p.m. FREE Parking from 7-10:30 a.m.! The first 20,000 fans will also receive a Storm Station 4.4 dual-disc weather DVD!

Tickets will be mailed directly to your home.

8:30 a.m.	Stadium Gates open to all schools
9:15-10:00 a.m.	Schools find open seating in the lower bowl
10:00-10:45 a.m.	Meteorology Lesson (in the stadium)
10:45-11:00 a.m.	Nick Vasos and the SKYFOX Helicopter (weather permitting)
11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.	Lunch Break in Lot J -- Meet the Fox 4 Weather Team, receive autographs and participate in hands on activities- You may bring your own sack lunch or purchase food at the stadium.
1:10 p.m.	Game Time vs. Seattle Mariners
